Fished this am with my brother James and his friend Paul. I had my five redfish by 7:25 with Paul catching three and James catching 1. We kept fishing & I wound up releasing 4 more along with one bass, Paul caught two more to catch his limit, and mr brother caught one more. Home by 11 am. Was a great day even though the wind started blowing pretty good. Word is it is a heavy afternoon bite so get ready for Thursday! I think I'm ready to kick some Texas arse. I've had plenty of practice.  I've been known to pinch a tail or two in my life! | ||

Figures....looks like Tropical Storm Cindy is going to roll right over top of us Wednesday. Hopefully it will blow thru quickly and push some new fish in to the area so we can get after them Thur afternoon. I've been known to pinch a tail or two in my life! | ||

We are fine. Probably had some 30-35 mph winds with just a little rain. We were on the East side of it so really did not get much. Sun is shining and flags are barely moving. I guess the southern lower area of New Orleans got a pretty good hit but not unusual considering it is just a road with about 100 yds on each side of it which is below sea level to start with and then surrounded by water. I'm kinda wondering about Bigdog however. He emailed yesterday from work in Fourchon which is right on the beach coast. Wondering how his night went? I doubt they have power down there but imagine where he is at probably have their own generators anyway. All I KNOW is three Texans are going down! | ||

Bigdog just emailed me and he got out of Fourchon around 5 pm last night right as the weather started. I tried to talk him into coming to the camp with us but he stated he could not stand to hear the crying coming out of those three Texans I'm about to take money from! Man... That looks good bigun... Wade after the first 20 minutes of fishing and you already have your limit before they catch one between the 3 of them, take some pictures of their tears..... Looking forward to the reports and pictures guys. It should be a great trip and no matter how the fishing is it will be a weekend to remember. Midgets... Be safe on that drive back and forth. They left Austin at 7:00am so I expect they won't get there till 2 or later and by the time they get to the camp and settle in they may get a little fishing this afternoon.
