I think this is a bass boat though. He guides on Sam Rayburn if I remember right off TBH.

Yes, Shane is a guide on Rayburn and that is a bass boat. I won't comment over there since he has it in the classifieds.

But it is still a Ranger boat. Isn't that what Dean has?

I definately see the connection "P", I just did not want to post on TBH about the troubles Dean had with his hull while Shane is trying to sell that boat -- although I feel a warning would be appropriate.

I couldn't agree more Sturm...

Oh I wasn't going to post over there either. Hate to see someone stuck with a piece. Just thought it was weird. I didn't even look at the pics to see it was a bass boat. LOL

My boat was not an insurance claim though - it is just a LEMON or a FRIDAY boat. Yesterday I picked the new hull up - a week late - and learned that when they were dropping it into the test tank to swap trailers they hit the concrete wall of the tank with the motor and broke a corner of the flat part off of the lower unit. They say they will weld it back on and I will never be able to tell...

They also told me that the warranty will not renew - but I was told it would before I agreed to this settlement. Can't prove anything though. Now I have had the boat a year and warranty items are expiring - including the gel-coat which is a known issue. I have seen and heard of several like mine with cracking in the gel-coat.

Also, there are parts of the boat that the doors and other parts rub when opening and closing them. Not a big deal but definately did not go through any kind of quality controll inspection. I'm just sick and tired of this ****..

Bottom line? Since the boat is DANGEROUS in design (since Susie got hurt) and FAULTY in craftsmanship and critical warranties will not be present - I will try to sell it and take my losses. Maybe I wont get another boat for a while - I am really burnt out on boat issues....
All In A Days Fun!!!
