I know there has to be several of you guys here that fish these reels, what do you think about them? I'm looking real hard at the 200B. Just looking for some feedback, the guys at work have nothing bad to say about them. Any input would be appreiated! -Chad Critchfield-

I have several of the 100's. I like the Chronarch and Curado much better. |

I agree with Charles. I have one of all 3 and like the Curado the best. I use mine in salt water and they have held up very well. |

I am a Curado 100B guy myself. I love the lower profile. Castability is great and to date the largest fish caught on one of them was the 13 pound striper and it handled it with no problem. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Thanks for the input so far guys, but what is it exactly that you like more about the Curado than the Calcutta? Just looking for some detail. I want this reel to be used for everything from largemouth to reds and specks. Thanks again! -Chad Critchfield-

I have 4 calcutta's and the wife has 3 with a chronarch. The Chronarch may be a little smoother and cast farther. You can't go wrong with any of these M&M

i kinda like the small round reels, never tried a shamino, i have one (pawn shop) and it has a stripped out gear or shaft , i took it apart and tried to fix it w/epoxy, but it didnt work. this is in no way any kind of recommendation + or- my fat fingers cant spell I'll probably turn into a floating turd and Picou will break the knob off my post counter immediately. Chad, The calcuttas that I have are heavier. The screws always seem to lossen up which effects casting and reeling. To adjust the breaks on the Calcutta you have to disassemble the reel which is a pain in the back side (the cronarch and curado you don't). I also like to low profile reels becuse that fit in my hand mo better. |

For saltwater, calcutta's are hard to beat. If I was only freshwater fishing, curado's would be the way to go. It kinda looks like a SNOOK!
