Well, I had a good time in San Antonio however if you are not ready to drop a grand that is not the place to go on vacation! Wow, everything was pretty expensive there I found but we did it all and will pay later!  Caroline performed quite well in her dance competition. They took golds in their recreation category but overall did not win any big categories. Not bad for a recreation company however compared to the other big dance schools that are competitive. Was a big difference between the two.    Went to Seaworld one day. It was hotter than Hades until about two and then clouded up and the rest of the day was nice.   We did lots of eating, drinking, and walking on the riverwalk.    Went partying one night and ran into a guy from above New Orleans I go to the camp with. What a small world. We cut up all night in ••••'s Last resort. What a great place!    Now it's back to work. What fun. It kinda looks like a SNOOK! | ||

That looks like a dang good time Wade. Tell Caroline congrats on the gold and that I am proud of her for their accomplishments. Pretty cool for a group from a small SE La. town to make it there. Looks like ya'll had a grand time in San Antonio... I bet it was tough traveling on I-10 and not turning off in Luling to go to the farm... Great recap....  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Farm was not that hard due to the heat. Not turning off for some of that Luling BBQ is another story however!!!! It kinda looks like a SNOOK! | ||

San Antonio can be a fun town. Also can be a bit pricey as you noted but not all that much more than a lot of places. Congrats on the gold!! Love to fish and hunt. | ||

SA is pretty fun. We took the kids to Sea World, The Alamo and River walk a few years ago. The River Walk kinda of suck because we had a stroller with us. We did the Dicks Last Resort thing too. They made a hat for my son that said "I Play with naked Barbies" He didn't think that was very funny! | ||

The hats were rather funny. This one girls said "my panties stink worse than a shrimp boat". You are right Charles, no worse than coming to New Orleans for 5 days. I'm just not used to those type vacations I guess except for the NR Texas deer license. It kinda looks like a SNOOK! | ||
