Look for the FTN sticker... It is on the vent hood above the cooks. I spent some time talking with the manager (visiting manager from McAllen) and he is a big salt water fisherman. He is going to check out FTN and TRB and hopefully become a frequent visitor to both. He said he will register as Hooters... I enjoyed our chat over a couple beers and learned some stuff from him about surf fishing as well. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

He said they had a turnover at the store and needed help while new management was in training. He heads back down to McAllen this weekend. Maybe we should start having our N. Texas FTN gatherings at Hooters... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Sluggo... Did you go by and ask? The waitress gave my daughter a Hooters Magazine. I was reading the articles and Hooters sponsors a bass fisherman. He has a cool boat wrapped with Hooters. Also, Hooters sent a group of girls to Iraq to visit the soldiers and show their support. I thought that was pretty cool of them. There are some great pictures in the magazine no doubt, but I was amazed at what Hooters is giving back to the community. I have a new respect for the restraunt, the owners, managers, and staff. Hooters really is more than just pretty girls and great wings... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Nah, never made it over there. With watching the kiddo nearly 100% of the time now, work, and other stuff, I haven't had time to do squat. I think last week I only managed to get out and fish for once for about an hour or so. If the lake wasn't in the backyard, I couldn't have done that! |

I finally made it back to McAllen. I have not yet had a chance to get my line wet though. I need to get out and cross some eyes. Any luck in the RGV coastal area anyone? |

Glad you made it Hooters... Enjoyed chatting with you last week and I am looking forward to your reports. Click on "register" up in teh top right corner of the screen. It is quick, painless, and easy. Don't forget to check out TexasRodBenders.com for a little more coast specific info. There are several who fish your area. Put that boat in the water and go catch something... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
