I've built a few rods in my time, but never really built one just for plugging,, well I finally did,, it's a 6'6" Head-n-tail, 96% graphite, manufactured in Louisiana,,This is the base wrapping

The eye pattern, not very fancy, but it'll do

To make things even better,, My dear darling loving wife approved a "Capital Expenditure" that resulted in this,, my first "Low Profile"

Here's the rig put together,,,

Haven't had a chance to get it slimed yet,, but hopefully I'll get it done this week,, I'll follow up with a report.

BB, that is one fine rig you made there. I am not convinced that you can handle it so you should just pack it up and send it to me...

Seriously, that looks great and I hope you can make it up here for a trip sometime or I can make it down there. Would like to see that craftsmanship up close.
