Charles and I headed to Fork for a half day drop-shot training lesson. 3:45am came early and by 4:50am we were headed to the lake. The lake was like glass and we quickly made our way to a spot that Charles had some success on last weekend. After a quick tutorial on how to rig and how to fish the drop-shot, the fishing began. It did not take long and I had my first drop-shot fish... The weather was not bad at all and we had some cloud cover building and providing a nice screen for the sunshine. We started to see some schooling activity so we slowly fished over towards that area and picked up a few fish on traps. All said and done we probably ended up with 15 fish for the morning. The heat broke and so did our will to be on the lake... We grabbed a burger at Axton's and headed home. It was a great time on the water fishing with Charles and enjoying some cold beers. The lake is in great shape and I look forward to getting out there again. Charles, muchas gracias senior for the great time on the water. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Way to go you two. When is the next dropshot tutorial? When it got so hot I would have just pulled up somewhere and gone swimming. |

Nice job guys. Glad to see some people bass fishing again. If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related. My bass club webpage http://texbass.8m.com/
