There is a better ad on the link posted. I had to shrink it to post it here. If you buy it my finder fee is a trip out, with paying for some gas of course.

Nice Boat! I want twins though. Also I have to sell the Ranger first. Know anyone interested?

Travis did not sell my Ranger so I went and picked it up once the recal on the flywheel was finished. Took it out Saturday but only managed some sand trout.. The weather was off and raining..

Actually, If I could sell my Ranger I would buy this Grady the same day! (depending on condition). Looks like a good deal!

Thanks for the link!

Actually, What I think I'll do is wait until I can afford the real thing. I will probably use the Ranger until I can afford something 28 to 34ft that I will sling in Freeport (or Galveston). Having been out with a few guiides on 28' boats it seems that 28 might be a minimum. Also I want the big wide beam and capacity to spend the night on it the day before I go out. I also want a generator on board so I can fish the jetties at night and then sleep right there when I am done.

Maybe Stamas - Bertram - Grady - or something like that. This vessel can be used for high end charters so it can carry it's own weight. Hire a captain to manage it and expect him to make it work.. One guy I met is doing this and he is pretty happy with the situation..

If I was I would have a boat at least 80ft. :-) I would spend all my time out in the deep blue sea.

Confused? I guess after the shock of the Ranger ordeal I must have lost some sence of reality.!.?

Hey Bigun - how is everything shaping up down there? Nothing too exciting happen with Katrina? Fuel and food/water still abundant? Our gas is about $2.89/gal here.

All electricity seems to be up in Terrebonne parish for the most part. Gas is getting a little easier to find I guess OR no stations have gas. Not sure which. I filled up last Wed and did not go 1 mile until Sun when Caroline broke her arm and have about 30 gallons in tanks due to I ended up not needing them for generator. I'm back up and running at work now overseeing my workers at Emergency Need shelters and Emergency Food Stamp give away on top of trying to get my office going. T1 lines are completely down leaving me no access to any computer systems and we do nothing on paper anymore!! Food like bread and meat is still hard to find around here but I have a freezer full of meat and fish and not much of a bread eater so not really worried. I've seen gas from 2.49 to 3.00 around here. They announced on Stock Market channel just now that gas should drop some .30 to .40 cents in the next couple weeks. No forms of violence or unruliness going on here I have heard of. The TRAFFIC however will make you want to beat someone up!!! Same complaint in Baton Rouge. Houma and Baton Rouge liable to be two largest cities in La by the time this thing is over!

The demographics of the South will be changed forever because of Katrina. We have 15 - 25 thousand in the DFW area and many of them say they are not going back. Same for Houston, San Antonio, etc...

Dean, back to the topic... Find out what it would cost you to put twins on that Grady -- if it is possible. Still may come out cheaper.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Check out this boat Dean!

http://2coolfishing.com/ttmbforum/showthread.php?t=32446

We have a 21ft. Sea Pro and love it. Does real well in 3 ft seas. Haven't tried any rougher ones and our boast is a bay boat where this one is made for offshore.

Sweet looking boat!

Forgot this fact also which I know is happening everywhere also due to storm, 1,100 new students enrolled in schools here in Terrebonne Parish just this week. I graduated in 1984 and total enrollment in my High School was right above 800 students and that was 9-12th grade.

Nice Boat! Im'a thinkin about it! Still gotta get rid of the Ranger though.

Took it out yesterday - T-Top ebox door fell off except for one screw, troll motor didn't work, anchor locker doesn't close with out force because it doesn't line up correctly, motor cowling handle fell off, live well timer didn't work, etc., etc., etc...

Sometimes I think I am cursed!

I wonder if my luck would change with a new Grady? There is a 22' at Marine Max that has been there a while. I wonder what kind of deal they would make me on it. Supposed to be a sea-worthy boat. The only reason I would go new is because they take the junker for trade.. They also have Sea hunt but I am afraid that it would be more prone to having issues - more risk.
