Storms are not far South and East of Tawakoni, but they seem to be moving east. We may get a little rain, but unless something develops, I think it will be light rain. Hopefully they will not move north and ruin our day of fishing.
Is everyone still a go? |

We can make room in ours. We can fish 5 people with no problem. Don't drag your boat for one more person.
Audra had a dream I caught fish (see, she even admits it in her dreams  ) and was chasing her around with it trying to get her to touch it!

Well we're home and I think the honors of the first fish boated goes to Audra! After a 20 minute battle with the monster she finally got him in the boat! As soon as I can figure out how to down size such a huge picture I'll post it!
Don't ya hate when ya are catching fish and people start crowding ya to see what you're using!

We had a great time. Although we didn't catch many fish, it was still fun meeting friends and visiting with them. We will do it again, hopefully when the fish are REALLY biting. (BTW, someone did boat a 16.5" sand bass today!) |

I just posted a bunch of pictures on www.texasbowhunter.com. I had the message ready to post, and I was reminded of the size limit for posting pics here!  I decided to go ahead and post over there, also, to remind everyone of the great site Mike has here.
We had a great time, and I hope the rest of you guys slayed 'em! Let us know how you did...and when we're having the fish fry!

What took y'all so long to post? Y'all left the lake at 11:00?!?! Long lunch and nap before posting?!

Thanks again Keith & Audra "Latimer Guide Service"! I had a great time in and out of the boat!!! Audra, you have to be one of Cotton's most favorite people! You helped me get past target practicing to actually hunting and now fishing today on the lake and not the tank!! Can this marriage survive all this "bonding"! Seriously though if I take up fishing along with my hunting, Cotton is gonna have to get a 2nd job to support these hobbies!

Hey it was close to 25 hours!!! Plus I only got about four hours of sleep the night before.
I had good time even if I didnt catch anything! Thanks for letting me fish out of yalls boat Keith and Audra.
It has been awhile since I have been fishing. Cant wait to do it again. |
