Now the NO mayor is calling for a "Manditory Evacuation"... AGAIN

I am trying to figure out how the word Manditory means anything different than it did before the hurricane or after the waters started to rise...

Am I missing something here????????
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Manditory= Bush hates us.

What I have been hearing is they are saying if people refuse to leave they will force them to leave.

My point is, they called for a manditory evac a long time ago. Why and the HECK did they not force them to leave on the FIRST or even the SECOND manditory evacuation?

Before the storm it is recommended Mandatory= No one will come help you in the middle of the storm if you are in a bind no matter who you call.
2nd Mandatory after the storm: You have no power, food, or water you better get out or die of starvation or just plain disease.
This Mandatory ruling=Police force and National guard will use "Minimal force" to escort you out. I loved the definition of "minimal force" I heard on the radio assuming it was the military person in charge: "if you weigh 350 lbs it takes a lot more minimal force thant if you weigh 100 lbs"!
It kinda looks like a SNOOK!

Now the police forces say they will not enforce it (at least yet) due to local police do not want to have to and Natl Guard says they do not take orders from Nagin. They are still putting up a good front I guess and the people are being pressured (ie, person surrounded by Natl Guard with rifles and told sternly they have to leave).

I tell you what, the more I learn about the NO mayor, the more angry I get... If all the emails I am getting about him are half correct, he should be charged with murder for those that died from exaustion in the superdome.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of things flying around right now and no way to substantiate it. I saw a picture of the entire fleet of school buses still parked and water up to the doors.

Hopefully, the truth will come out.

now now ---- this is not a political web site. We all know he has the ability to create storms.. :-)

This morning I was listening to the radio and one of the dj said they were in san antonio over the weekend and spoke with some refugees. He was in the Wild Coyote or something like that and he noticed a bunch of people wearing wrist bands. When he asked one, the response cane from several that they received their FEMA check and were celebrating.. (this is a mens club) He went on to say many more disturbing things finalizing it with "our tax dollars hard at work".

How is it Bushe's fault? These people - well I dont want to offend anyone -

Why would they use the money for anything else when they are getting shelter and food for free?

This is going to get a lot uglier before it ever gets better. I will say this, there are a lot of New Orleans residents who are good people and will make good use out of the FEMA money and re-establish themselves and be contributing members of society as they were before the storm. Those who were not contributing members before will certianly not be afterwards either.

Tax dollars hard at work.

If I had been displaced like this I would be trying my hardest to organize a clean up effort for FEMA for pay so I do not have to continue to mooch off the tax payers - (government). We are the ones loosing out here. This is an opportunity to make a lot of money for someone and be a positive contributor to the people of the country. Entrepreneaurilship (what a word) is the basis of this country. Here is an EXCELENT OPPORTUNITY for all cajuns to get jobs and earn their living. Clean-up, Construction, Automotive, Food Distribution, soo many ways there to make a great living - especially now as the government will be pouring billions of dollars into the region - BILLIONS!

Heck, now that I think about it, maybe I should monopolize on this opportunity? - - - - naaa, my computer business keeps me safe and secure, no need, I'll just keep paying exorbent taxes so the poor can live off of me.. What the heck...
