Hey Hooters... We were just up at Hooters in McKinney tonight and had Shasta as our waitress -- remember her? Usually we have Michelle and all of the girls speak highly of you. On my 30 horse I overheated the motor when the water pump failed one night and I was on full plane. They bored over and re-sleeved the cylinder then put in a new (used) piston & rings. I did not notice a difference in the performance at all. Basically, it depends on the scoring on if it is salvagable. Hopefully some others here will chime in and give their personal experiences.  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I really have not researched it much. To be quite honest I have not even seen the scoring but i hear one cylinder is about medium, and one is minor. I am just weighing my options. Next time you go to Mckinney tell them I said Hello. They were a fun crowd. Mcallen keeps me pretty busy though. give me a shout later. Cross some eyes! | ||
