It has been very quiet over here.... C'mon folks -- chime in... I played in the corporate challenge coed softball tournament this weekend. We won our friday night game, lost the first game this morning, won the next and lost in double overtime the 4th game. We ended up with 4th place overall out of 10 teams with a thrown together mess of players that were able to practice 3 times together. The team we lost to the first time is in the championship and the team that just beat us took 1st place last year. I am very proud of the entire team for giving 110% and hanging in there. This is our first year to enter the corp. challenge and next year we are taking the GOLD!!!..... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Worked today processing some shelter applications. A Medicaid worker's work is never done! It kinda looks like a SNOOK!

Shoot a couple for me, I have not dove hunted yet and it is driving me crazy.... I blew out my ankle in the second game, 1st inning sliding into second and played half of that game on it. Then I started in the 3rd game and pulled myself after the first inning. Last night it was swolen and every time I moved it chills shot through my body and I would shiver. I was misserable last night. Not to mention all the scrapes on my left leg and hip from sliding 3 different times. No matter how many times I say I'll never slide again, I just cannot keep from doing it when the situation calls for it. I would rather slide and get scarred up then get tagged out. I looked at the results this morning and the two teams we lost to took 1st and 2nd place in the tournament -- at least we lost to the 2 best teams. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

How'd the dove hunting go Sturm? I ended up being a bum and doing nothing at all but getting my new (used) bow from my neighbor and shooting it a few times. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Saw your thread on TBH. Congrats on the new bow. I acquired a new used bowtech this year. Bow is shooting great, just waiting on Oct. 5th for our first trip to Kansas. If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related. My bass club webpage http://texbass.8m.com/

I've been busy peddling make-up...so I haven't had a lot of time to check in anywhere! Hope all you guys are doing well! We got a new boat a few weeks ago (right after my Tonsillectomy), and I think we might try to go fishing Friday! "Men and fish are alike.
