Well, it was extremely hot but I managed to qualify. We agreed at the ramp to extend the fishing out to 5:00pm to give us 5 hours of fishing. I ended up boating 8 fish total but only one of them was a keeper. Fortunately it was enough to get me in the top 4. :-) Looks like I will be participating in the Corp Challenge...

I caught my keeper (3.5 lbs) on a drop shot rigged "Dirty Sanchez" from Reaction Innovation. Caught a smaller one on the same bait also. My other under 14" bass was on a split shot zoom baby brush hog in watermelon red. Caught a 4 sandbass on a rattle trap (could'nt resist :-) ). And a nice channel cat came on a deep diving crank bait.

Meet the team and the fish we weighed in today:

Nice fish for this time of year, no matter what lake you are on. Good luck in the Corp. tournament.
If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related.

Isn't "dirty Sanchez" a color and not a specific bait? If so what were you throwing, Flirt, Smallie Sweet Beaver, Beaver......?
