Pictures taken Sunday around the Falgout Canal marina in Dularge La AFTER water had fell between 2 to 3 ft. Usually a wooden dock, grass yard and a road between here and far camp. Usually a large shell parking lot behind the pilings and buildings for Denberry Mgmt camp which was moved for storm. The marina store which is usually a large shell parking lot. Boat ramps to the right of me. You can see where the water was if you look at the building. The red trailer was completely underwater Saturday except for the jack handle. This is the dock me and the three circus midgets sat on drinking beer waiting on the rain to stop waiting to go out to the camp and where Simek parked his truck for the trip. I thought I had a picture of us sitting on it but can't find it. Maybe it was Rob's picture I'm thinking of. Getting into Gerald's boat shed. Inside the boat shed Just a picture of what is usually a yard and a shell road.
It really is a snook!!!!

Wow - Worse than I thought. That is why homes are built up on pilings though. I feel for those who are too low. They go through this from time to time. What misery.. Were there evacuation orders issued for these areas? All In A Days Fun!!!

Problem is it flooded where it has never flooded before so a lot of the bayou homes were not raised. It was recommended you leave south of the intracoastal until late Friday afternoon/night when they realized the flood levees were going to be breached by the tidal surge from the constant south wind. It really is a snook!!!!

According to mom, several of her aunts and cousins got water in their homes. Thelma's store has water in it but her house does not since it is pier & beam. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
