Apparently, he and his partner won the www.cabaoutdoors.com championship tournament yesterday.

1st place was sumpin like a new freaking boat!

That is absolutely awesome to see -- Congrats!!!!

Let me guess, Briner gets the boat since he caught most of the fish... lol... :-) That and his boat is older. :-)

Way to go Briner & Ozborn, steaks are on me next time we are at the lake house.

Thanks for all the kind words. It was an incredible experience to be standing on the stage with Jay Yelas accepting the keys to a new boat!! I caught at 5.45lbs as we were leaving the stump filled north end of Palestine making cast as we left outa there when she bite. Man what a feeling, everything worked out as planned.

We went far far north. Fished in very shallow water under 3ft. We were in the mucky muck all day fishing Toads and Ribbitts. The 5.40lbs came on a Ribbitt. It was a top water bite that would stop your heart when they hit that thing. The fish at times would come completely out of the water. One of the coolest
topwater bites I've seen.
