i decided i needed another boat, so (with the help and persuasion from a few folks at www.iboats.com) i decided on the minimax. i think it will be the amistead river runner from hell.  nessary boat building tools  the ol 7.5  another of the ol 7.5  the 9.9  still have to build the motor board and sand and paint amistead here i come my fat fingers cant spell I'll probably turn into a floating turd and Picou will break the knob off my post counter immediately. sea trials have been completed that 9.9 sure pushes it fast  the wife took these pics while in a buddy's boat  the lake was glass today  but it got a little exciting at times   i lost my beer not kidding  this is the max speed with the 9.9 the 3hp is much faster--i mean slower, by a lot  my fat fingers cant spell I'll probably turn into a floating turd and Picou will break the knob off my post counter immediately. Pretty darn cool lookin stuff there Sturm... 20MPH in small pine box is pretty fast. I am still amazed that little thing floats... Looks like you had a great time Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
