Not the greatest picture but can any one identify this fish?

Little Tuny

I saw a picture that called it a "Little Tuny". Quite colorful on the top side that you cannot see. We cought it while at the north jetty in Galveston - Hammering the Spanish Mackerel. At first I thought it was a tuna but --- ?

Looks like a bonita to me. Don't know if they are the same as a little tuny but I don't think so.

I would have said Bonita also. Dean, think back to when we use to fish Laguna Beach and all the bonita we caught off the rocks there. They were not that big but I know in the time I was there we sure caught a lot of them.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Nope - Not an Atlantic Bonito - Definately not! This guy had green and blue along the top half. Quite Pretty. I took the time to do some research and here it is:

Bonita I have caught offshore has the green and blue along the top half. Difference between the two is the whether there is fin beyond the corslet which is not shown. Does appear to be a little tuny though from little I can see of it.
