yall already know i got 2 motors but im thinking of using the older one for salt water.after i take it out of salt water do i just rinse it off real good or so i need to take it apart and rinse off each part? Rinse it off and flush it with freshwater, either in a cut off barrel, or with a pair of earmuffs, depending on the size of the motor. Standards I have its morals I lack

Just keep it rinsed and lubed. Make sure the anode on the skeg is not eaten away also, you'll be fine. www.texasrodbenders.com
