yall already know i got 2 motors but im thinking of using the older one for salt water.after i take it out of salt water do i just rinse it off real good or so i need to take it apart and rinse off each part?

Rinse it off and flush it with freshwater, either in a cut off barrel, or with a pair of earmuffs, depending on the size of the motor.

Just keep it rinsed and lubed.
Make sure the anode on the skeg is not eaten away also, you'll be fine.
