Thanks. I almost gave up at the end. I was trailing by 1 point and the last tournament day was when the cold front came in and it was 10 degrees that morning.

I decided to wait 2 hours before starting and ended up with a small limit by noon. Temp was 18 degrees when I launched. I ended up taking 6th place in the tournament and won AOY by 2 points.

Thanks guys, I owe all the credit to this board and my fishing partner on the first tournament. Mike failed to put me on fish and inspired me to fish harder the rest of the year.

Bigun, I ended up shooting a big doe in Dec. Never saw a buck during the trip and wanted some meat.

Bigun, Here's a pic of my doe from Kansas. I wish we had a scale up there. I guessed her to be around 120# field dressed.

I'm absolutely amazed. There is WATER in Ks! :-) Be hard pressed to get a picture like that in area I hunt. About the average size of does in area we hunt with a few bigger ones once in a while. Wish I could have got pulled back on one this season. Congrats.
