I'll be there with my boat.
If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related.

Keith and I might be able to make this one! We've been going to Fork lately and catching some crappie! We are really in a fishing mode, so maybe we can catch up with you guys! Won't know for sure until closer to time, though!

BB, there looks to be plenty of room so far. Heck of a drive from Corpus buddy... Talk about a border to border run... :-)

It will be Texfisher's fault if we do not catch any fish.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Still planning on making it. My departure date for the Classic has been moved to the 20th so I might receive I little heat from the wife. Mike have you used an Aqua View system? We are trying to add underwater footage to our video coverage and I wanted to use the Aqua View camera. I think I found a way to overcome the rca style video output but it looks like it will only output blak and white images. Do you know of a color camera that can attach to a Sony VX2100? I wanted to try this out on Texoma.

FYI,

Golden alga responsible for minor fish kill at Lake Texoma
Biologists confirmed a golden alga bloom over the weekend in Lebanon
Pool, an isolated water body within the upper Red River Arm of Lake
Texoma. No major fish kill has occurred, but fish are exhibiting signs of
stress. A small number of fish, mostly gar, have died according to
officials at the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
"We've been keeping a close eye on this pool all winter. During our
regular January monitoring, we noticed an increase in the golden alga
counts, and fish began dying over the weekend (Jan. 21-22). We'll continue
to monitor the situation closely," said Ferrella March, an
environmental biologist at the Wildlife Department.
Golden alga is a naturally occurring type of algae that secretes a
fish-killing toxin when it blooms. Golden alga is not a health threat to
humans or livestock.
This is the first golden alga bloom in Oklahoma this year. The alga
first appeared in Oklahoma in 2004 in this same waterway. Since that
time, biologists from Oklahoma and Texas monitor Lebanon Pool and other
at-risk waters for golden alga monthly.
"The presence of golden alga doesn't mean there will be a fish kill,"
March said. "If the amount of golden alga reaches a certain level, we
know conditions are right for a bloom."
State biologists had been anticipating a bloom at Lebanon Pool.
"Testing this month revealed an increase in golden alga cells, so we
knew a bloom was possible," March said.
Blooms typically occur in winter months and often leave a
golden-yellow ring around the lake shoreline. Golden alga is found worldwide in
both marine and freshwater systems. It prefers saline (salty) waters.
Scientists and biologists all over the world are looking for a
solution to toxic golden alga blooms. There is currently no prevention or
cure, but on-going research is focused on affected inland waters. For more
information about golden alga, go to

Love to fish and hunt.
