I went to Lake Tawakoni on Saturday for the first time since the summer. Man, it's really getting low!

(For some reason my new internet security program won't allow me to post pictures to this site. I'll see if I can figure out the problem.)

I may have the problem figured out. Let’s try some more pictures now.

Holiday sold and the new owner has been doing a lot of work, but he has very few customers with the lake so low. Here are his ramps and some "new islands" just off of Holiday. You can see the old water line on some of the posts.

This is the one and only fish we caught. A black bass while sand bass fishing! The picture was taken by my 5 year old son, Evan.

Here are a few pics of Sun Point and a new island just off Sun Point. It's about 400 yards from the old waterline on Sun Point to where the water is now.

Here are "The Woods" that are usually about a foot UNDER WATER!

Ya'll get a new boat Keith?

Man that lake looks a little different right now. I used that state park ramp for a solobass tournament last year and tied up where it is dry as a bone now -- incredible...

Thanks for sharing the pics and welcome back. I sure hope ya'll can make it to Texoma on the 11th.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Yes, we did. We got a 21.5' Sea Fox Center Console with a 200 Mercury. It's yellow and white with a T-top. It's hard to miss, so say Hi if you see me.

I didn't even know where the boat lane 2 pictures above was located. I heard there was a boat lane through The Woods, but couldn't find it while it was under water. I marked it and the boundary of The Woods on my GPS while I can see them above water.

It's insane how low it is. I went out a few months ago and took pictures and mark spots with my GPS. I'm sure the lake has drop a few feet since than.

Pray for lots and lots and lots of rain!

I really need to get out to some of the local lakes and see where all the structure is for future reference. Secret honey holes will no longer be secret when the waters come back up... :-)

Be very careful, there are a lot of under water islands that are just under the surface. Cooper Lake has numerous islands sticking up and I'm sure there are more just below the surface. Cooper is close to 14-15 feet low!
