I found out today that I will be covering/fishing the BassChamps North Tour this year and the first tournament of the season is on the 11th. Sorry folks. We can either try and do it later in the month or ya'll can go on as planned. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

We'll be at Texoma a lot this year so maybe next time. Congrats on the BassChamps gig. Great bunch of guys and a well run tournament trail. I'm looking forward to your coverage. BassZone.com

I know you are STOKED on the BassChamp coverage & fishing it. Good luck on both. Quit being a mad, little bald man!

My partner and I are still planning on being there on the 11th. It is the last chance I have to prefish before a tournament on the 3rd. I hope to be there several times this year so a reschedule would be fine for me. BassZone.com

I posted this on TBH, but it belongs here as well. Towards the end of ‘05 we decided to expand both our website and our coverage of bass fishing. For our website, we needed technical advise and for our coverage, we needed man power. Through my visit’s here and at http://fishingtexas.net/ I felt Mike Picou would be a great person to talk to. After initial contact was made, Mike leant his expertise to the redesign phase of our site and it now looks great. He is now helping with our expanded coverage of local and professional bass fishing. Check out his article on the Bass Champs South stop at lake Amistad. http://basszone.com/news/basschamps1.html Some might believe that covering a sport you are passionate about would be easy but the hours spent making calls and formulating information into a presentable state can be daunting. I know Mike has worked hard to produce the results we have seen so far and I look forward to what he comes up with next. I just wanted to give him a big Texas thank you for everything he has done. Thanks Mike BassZone.com

Thanks Dru, I had a ball talking with the winners of the south event and look forward to fishing the north event. I'll be talking with the winners from the East event this weekend so we will see what the next writeup looks like... I'm happy to be a part of the team and hopefully my contributions will be positive. Keith, I'll check the calendar and we can get it figured out. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Sounds good to me, just let me know when. I'm working 55-60 hours a week (mandatory), so I'll only have one day off each weekend. But I can choose if I'd rather work Saturday or Sunday. I've been working 5 Ten hour days and part of a day on Saturday or Sunday. |

Keith, I forgot about a previous booking for the weekend of the 25th that will have me in southern Texas helping a buddy out. I may be out for February completely... Other than just loading the kids up and heading to the lake. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
