I have practically NO freshwater selection. If you want to have some fun and buy me a basic selection of good stuff I might use tomorrow (crappie, sand bass, Stripers, Black Bass) I will pay you in the morning. ($30-40) worth? Ok, apparently my compueter is screwy and will not let me do the smiley face thing. I get a formatting error telling me that the character does not exist, but the screwy thing is it showes me the character in the message that tells me it does not exist. Years ago (15 plus) I used to use crank baits, worms, and spinner bait for bass. Used "little fishies" for sand bass. the "little fishies" were deadly on the sandies at Yeagua creek!!! Not sure what I will need for tomorrow. For sure the "little fishies" if you can find them. A few smaller top water that might work for sand bass. And some smaller stuff I can use with my ultra lite spin caster (4 lb test) such as road runners etc? I have a ton of salt water stuff,,,, Need to get a tackle box for fresh water but probably need to pick that out myself. I will run by Wally world on the way home but I know they have a more limited selection than Acadamy or BPS. I am open for suggestions,,,,Don't need a "fully stocked" selection at this time but a good selection to be me started back into this stuff. I have something in storage (in Ohio, for another 2 weeks)that I can show you guys (and gals)if you troll for Sandies, Used to slay them and walleye in Kansas on them. i really sound like a green horn don't I? Just haven't done any bass fishing in YEARS. kinda rambled so little fishies Road runners, whatever else you might think I need for tomorrow. Whatever else all of you suggest. lead heads for the sassy shads (shad bodies should be chartruse, shad color, and white. I just use unpainted heads in the 1/4 to 1/2 oz size. lizards, craws, frys, bass hooks, bullet weights, bass jigs, trailers, CR stuff, etc... should I go on? Mike, Try to keep it under $50 worth of tackle if possible. Get what you would for you and some stuff I can use witht the ultra lite rig. Actually, I have no idea what tackle runs, is $50 enough? Greg, how about I just pick you up some slabs & sassy shads. Stuff for what we are going to be doing tomorrow. Maybe a trap or two. It gets real expensive quickly considering traps are 3 bucks each, crankbaits are 5 bucks, pack of lizards are 2 bucks, hooks are 2 bucks for a pack of 6... If we do any bass fishing, you are welcome to anything that I have and I am sure that Charles and Rudey would say the same. You are actually welcome to use any of my tackle for the sandies also -- unless I am using the only one I have... Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish | ||

Ya know, if we left right now, we'd be at Tawakoni just a little after dark. This time of year, you go about halfway down 2 Mile Bridge, tie up to a piling, drop a submergible light, give it about 20 minutes, and the sand bass are everywhere.
