My girls wanted to go fishing so we went hook the boat up, bought snacks, filled the boat with gas, drove all the way to the marina to turn around and come back home due to the wind was howling 30mph or better. They had whitecaps where the boats were picking up. Not sure where the wind came from do to hardly any at the house and only live about 20 mi away. My 4 year old was absolutely heart broken. Oh well, came home and cut grass instead!  Hope you guys had better luck.Quit being a mad, little bald man! | ||

Not here... Went to a double header basketball game for Jessica and they lost both games and ended their undefeated streak. Their record is now 4 & 2 and we have two weeks left before the tournament. Sorry to hear about the wind ruining your trip, but maybe tomorrow it will be better and ya'll will get to fish. I may hook up and take the girls if the weather permits after church tomorrow.  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I forgot about the big game tomorrow. Connie has a riding lesson at 2:00 so the girls and I will probably just sit around the house and watch the game. I already spent the afternoon cutting and splitting enough wood for a few weeks so I kinda earned a break...  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Bigboy, total different type of fishing down there but you know I would figure out how to catch them eventually. What baits did you use? Tell Aubrey he better stock up on 10" black worms and Junebug colors. I know the one time I fished down there that is all the guide owned.Quit being a mad, little bald man! |
