Well, wouldn't you know that the day I get to go fish a big tournament is going to be the worst freakin weather we have had in months... I sure hope that the forcasters are wrong, but since I want them to be wrong they will undoubtedly be right.

They are calling for an "Arctic" front to blow in Friday night and make for a bitter cold Saturday with rain and snow chances. The high will be in the low to mid 40s...

I am not sure what that is going to do to the bass fishing other than basically shut it down. But I will have to resort to reaction baits and just fish extra hard. Or, now may be a good time for me to get some suspending jerk baits that I can pull down and pause for extended periods of time.

I have one of those 9 inch rainbow trout looking Storm baits that I may just drag along the creek channels... You know, make it something that the fish with feel is worth their effort... :-)

I am still looking forward to the event and hopefully I can pull a few fish together for weigh in.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Hope you got some good goretex! Good luck anyway. I still say you should be throwing a top dog though. :-)

Mike,

I have a Basspro Gortex Bibs, Parka and gloves if you want to borrow them. Let me know.

Good luck in the tourny! I'll be thinking of you while I'm sitting by the fireplace earning brownie points:-)

I found out he is fishing it later than I thought. I am working on getting him onto the website. He doesn't spend much time on the computer though.
