First - I must sell the ranger! Finally got it back last Thursday and it worked fine. They replaced the block and its guts and the heads. Covered under warranty. Needs to be broken in again and I need to get the TX numbers made for the new hull. Ended up with 5 flounder and a mess of sand trout.

I would be concerned about Bass Cat's warranty statment - they do not warrant against gel coat issues. After my Ranger I have learned that a warranty is as important as any other factor - maybe more important! It will DEFINATELY be a SERIOUS consideration if I buy another new boat.
