I talked to Ozziefish the other day and he was able to commit to the BassChamps schedule. He and I will be taking on the large fields of 200+ teams in the quest for a new Skeeter SX200 at each event.

The weather is looking pretty crappy for the first event and it will be 23 degree wind chill at take off on Cedar Creek Saturday. It is going to be a tough day on the lake for sure. We met up today for lunch and put together a game plan so hopefully it will pay off.

Good luck. I'll be watching the standings to see how yall do. One of you need to win so you can get on tv and promote the site.

By the way I've change shifts so now I work the back end of the week. So I'll be doing my fishing on Sun-Tue.

We will take all the luck we can get. Talked to Oz this morning and he picked his boat up and is on the lake in this nasty weather getting it broke in w/ the new power head. We figure fishing will be a lot more comfortable out of his 21 foot boat as compared to my 18.5 footer.

My gut tells me that the fish are going to shut down and be lock-jawed with the cold front coming through now, the rain, then the rising pressure tomorrow. It will be a tough day on the lake for sure. I predict very few limits weighed in and there will be one or two teams that absolutely dominate.

I'll be thinking of ya'll freezing your 's off while I'm staying warm indoors. I might even drink a cup of hot chocolate for you.

Serious though, good luck. My game plan would be one of you working a jig and another working a suspending jerk bait. Don't over look the rip rap.

I'm just glad I wasn't on Texoma today for another repeat of last years tff trip. Good call on cancelling that get together.

Sorry to hear you guys didn't do better. That's usually my results when I try to fish a bigger tournament. I end up limping back to my club tournaments.

I have confidence that you two will redeem yourselves in the next one.

Sounds tough. It is amazing that in conditions like that someone could bring in a decent sack. What was the winning weight?

Dru,

Winning weight was around 21lbs.

www.basschamps.com

Ignition had a tournament at T-wok yesterday that took 31lbs to win. That's a sack full of big fish. www.ignitionbass.com

Wow. That kind of weight would warm you up in a hurry. I didn't realize T-wok held that quality of bass.

Thanks Charles.

T-wok is a great lake. It's normally a pretty easy lake to fish. However, with the lake so low, I have no idea where to fish. All of the productive spots I have are dry now.

I saw that on ignition... That is one heck of a stringer for T-wok... They are deciding this week if BassChamps is going to move the tourny from T-Wok next month.
