I know you can't sit in the house too long with prime water so close by.....might as well as that question on a Saturday night :-)

Way too cold here today to think of going outside. I'm not winterized at all. This extended spring has my blood thinned way too much.

We hung out around 23 degrees all day today. Started out at 28 degrees when we left for the basketball game at 7:10am and 25 degrees when we got home... Checked around 3:00pm and it was 23 degrees.

I'd have to agree about the blood thinning statment, it's cold out there...
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

That's what I'm hoping for. At least I can fight this cabin fever living through you! I can't rely on PQ and his new job out on the lake. Out late and in early...what's the world coming to? :-)

Congrats on the new setup!

Well, It was not nearly that cold here but it was cold and wet enough I did not feel like I HAD to be in a boat. :-)

Good call. I'd hate to see you only manage 20 trout on a new fishing rod/reel combo. :-)

Stomped them quick and early this morning Rob. Three man 75 trout limit by 9:15'ish this morning. Back in town with the fish dropped of at the cleaner's and sitting in Hebert's for a free lunch by 11:40. Don't get no better than that! To think I got paid for this today SON. :-) Will try to remember the camera tomorrow since we are not going until 8'ish or so tomorrow to give us a chance to see what weather is like.

Brought Ryan and Paul fishing today who were customers of PSC. Nothing like yesterday. Lots of small throwbacks and lots of WIND! The front was really sucking the wind in from the SW big time today. Still ended up putting 64 keeper trout in the box with at 40 throwbacks and lost another good 15-20 fish at the boat. Was a great day all in all despite it being slower than usual. Ryan and Paul said they are bass fisherman and they thought the numbers we caught were just fine being more than they catch in a month of fishing! Went to grab my camera at the launch this morning to find out my wife took it out of my truck last night so she could bring it to the Mardi gras parade with her. This front finally hit this afternoon here and heres hoping it clears out by morning so me, Ryan, and Paul can get back at them in the morning.

Another very windy day today with Paul and Ryan. Despite a slow start we caught up quick. First spot I ran to the water was absolutely nasty and we did not catch a fish. Ran back to the North knowing they would have some clean water up in the top of the pipeline and clean water and trout we found. Ryan and Paul started picking up a few fish and harassing me due to they were "kicking my butt" fishing. Well let me tell you it did not last long as I put a furious comeback on them with them making every excuse in the book. :-) Easy limit of 75 trout with a few bass and a few undersized reds thrown in. Trout were much better size today with us maybe having to throw 4-5 back. All the fish were caught on Tsunami opening nights and black/blue swimming minnows. Ryan had to remind me of the last trip I brought him on in which I threw my Calcutta reel overboard to it's watery grave. It was great fishing with these two gentlemen and here is to future trips.
