Elite Day 1 Results

Five 30 pounds stringers and BB was just over 10 pounds today...

I sure hope they get that leader board fixed tomorrow.... :-)

Incredible.

How about Byron Velvich with his 2# lunker? What a quock! :-)

People can think what they want about Ike but that boy can catch fish! And KVD is lurking around the corner. This will be a good one to watch.

Bigun, I was thinking the same thing about Byron. All that talk on TV about spending a month on the lake prefishing and that's all he has to show for it.

Those are some big sacks. Just think what the sacks could have been if the wind wasn't blowing so dard?

I can't wait to see what comes in today... It will be another day of large sacks I bet...

What are the chances the classic will be on Amistad one day? :-)

What a day. 30 lbs to be in the top 5. A log jam at 25 pounds. Today is going to blow the doors off. The winds has laid down and some of the sight fishermen have the biguns ready to go. It's good to see an Oklahoman leading down in Texas.

Mike are you related to Conrad Picou?

I sure as heck hope we are not related but based on my last two tournament finishes it is not impossible... :-)

I saw his name in Bassmasters mag and read he is from Scott, La. To my knowledge, I have no relatives in Scott. Looking at the list, I am not convinced the Elite series is quite as Elite as it use to be... :-)
