Finally remembered to take some pictures of the new to me bay boat I have almost signed the papers on. I told the guy I want it but we just have not got together to finalize it all.

I ran this boat several times last year bringing some of the owner's customer's fishing last year and it rides quite well and can get in some pretty shallow water. It is not the exact boat I wanted but figured it would give me the advantage to make a little money (since I only run some weekends) while figuring if I'm going to like doing the "public" charter fillin's I'll be doing. I hope most of my business remains the few private companies I run for now but have the opportunity to run more trips than that with a couple of guides that are just jam packed with people wanting to come to our coast.

My wife wants the seller's "other" boat which is parked on the side of this boat. Picture will explain why. I told her about the only good thing about it was we could live on it because I would only be able to fill it up once a year maybe! :-)

BTW, made trout fishing trip this morning for fun. Got to the launch at 9 am to high tides and low winds. Ran out to the first spot and a quick 10 or so keeper trout with a few throwbacks on a steep point of a natural bayou. Tide was really rolling out around the point. Drifing this natural bayou a good 200 yds for just a couple more fish. Hit a few more spots like the first spot we fished with all yielding the exact same results. The high tide had the fish spread out and anywhere the tide was pumping into an open area there would be a few fish. Quick 50 man trout limit by 12 hitting these type spots. Caught on a variety of colors of Tsunami, Berkley, and Storm swimming minnows. Did not seem to matter color rather just hit spots where current was ripping and catch what was there and hit another. Nothing huge but did have a couple 22 to 23" fish we released.

Charles, fish bite here 24-7. Just depends on time of year where you have to go to catch it. We have a couple different packets depending on how many people, what you want to catch and how you want to catch them? I'll email you.

Dru, I need a break from fishing and my 4 days a week state job gives me that and a guaranteed retirement in 15 more years. Chartering ain't promising nothing but a bad back and lots of expenses. :-)
