Well our trip to fork was full of luck, bad luck but it was still a great trip. First as you all know my boat sprung a big hole so we took footzs express. We got there wednessday about 3pm and checked in. We then hit the lake which was rough for a 15' boat but went up birch creek and began fishing. Five minutes into it out TM battery dies. We go back to camp and put it on charge overnight. We did go to chilies and eat in Sulfur Springs and had a really hot waitress. I left my # on part of the bill, but she never called :-) The next morning we wake up and go fishing this time the battery lasts probably thirty minutes. We pack up and go buy a battery. We head back to the lake to an area charles told me about but the wind was blowing into it and with a flatbottomed typeboat, they are hard to control, We left went and got some minnows and finished the day out under the 29XX bridge and caught several crappie and yellow bass. Thurday night we ate at tamollies in SS with a buddy from parris that we had not seen in a while. We then drove to commerse and got some refreshments and finished the night off at the Mallerd (the camper we stayed in). All in all it was a fun trip, just did not do much fishin

It's good to get the kinks out on the first trip. Now the rest of the year should be smooth sailing.

Sounds about like my trips to Fork. Something always goes wrong. Better than staying home though.
