I know a few of you fish Rayburn. Check out this link showing what the pros used this past weekend.

I checked out your site first thing this morning to see who won yesterday and saw this report. Interesting. Imagine KVD catching something on spinner baits? :-)

I've have not fished them much but just have not caught much around here on senko's. How exactly are they fished? Assume the same as french fries or flukes???

Wade, you can fish them just about anyway you want. I fish them Texas rigged without a weight when there is no wind. I will add a weight if it's windy or I wanted to cover water faster. I also throw it wacky style in open water.

Like the commercial says, "You don't work the bait, it works you." It has a subtle side-to-side action when it falls. The less you do the better it looks.

Explains why I don't catch much. You gotta burn baits around here most of the time to get fish to strike. Of course they are only in about 8" of water so that is part of it.

Hey Dru and Mike: Is Mike writing under an alias on your site Dru? His write ups are saying: Story by Mike Piccu. :-)

Yea, because of his noted tournament success, Mike thought it better to write under a pen name. Figured his writing would command more respect if it came from somebody who could actually catch fish.

Just kidding Mike. We will get it fixed.

That's too funny... I looked at each one of those and with the small font I have my browser set at the second C looked like an O when just glancing at it...

You have the power Dru... now fix it... :-)

Oh yea... the original topic of this thread...

All those winning baits and I have ZERO of them in my tackle compartment... No wonder I am not catching any fish... :-)

There is also speculation that KVD was actually throwing a Terminator spinnerbait at Amistad. A couple of the guys this weekend who fish for Terminator claim the red spinnerbait looked a heck of a lot like the ones they were using down there for the Federation Championship...

I'm sure it was a refined spinner bait of the company he sponsors that will hit the market soon. Man, I was just looking thru my new 2006 Bass Pro Fishing catalog and man am I glad I don't bass fish much. The price on some of these lures are ungodly! The Dean Rojas frog is $8. No wonder he throws it everywhere he goes. :-)
