Hit the lake by myself on Sunday. My buddy couldn't go, so I loaded the solo canoe and made the best of it. Caught a couple and lost a couple, but it was a day full of opportunities. Since TL doesn't normally offer-up many strikes, I called my buddy on the way home to schedule another trip as soon as possible. Soonest we could both go was Wednesday. Course, the weather changed by then and I wasn't sure if my pattern would still work, but I guess it did. About 5 pm yesterday, this old girl cooperated. My buddy worked the canoe to deep water like a seasoned guide and after a couple long minutes it was picture time. She was 24.5 inches long and once again, close but short of the 13 lb. (Sharelunker) mark I want. She was released right where she was hooked and swam off strong. Thanks for reading and good luck everybody. Could someone with skills maybe hook a brother up with an avatar of this pic, please? |

Clark, as soon as I load my new copy of photoshopCS2 I will handle the avitar for you. The current tools I have now will not be any better than what Rob provided. Photoshop will handle it nicely. Beautiful fish and I will grant the appropriate award shortly. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Clark the Town Lake Largemouth lake record is 11.58 lbs. You probably broke that easily with this fish? |

I'm all for it. Checked out the area near the dam and dam it was full of people last Sunday Water looks great though so it's just picking the right time to hit it. Is it legal to fish at night and do you launch near the dam? Gerald and I are ready when you are! I think Wes even wants to get in on this action LOL! |
