A guy at work told me they were down there last Thursday and slayed the Sandies.

Lake info:

I'm kicking around the idea, it's 90 miles from the house. A guy I talked to at the Academy said they have been catching their limit on Hubbard by the Power Plant, that's just 2 miles from the house. :-) I'm thinking about trying Hubbard first on Thursday after I get off work if ya want to go?

I'll be plowing and getting ready to plant wheat IF it quits raining.

Cotton, let me know what happens on the sandies at Hubbard. That is the kind of evening trip I can take the kids on after school. I wonder what is happening on Lavon right now in the evenings. I can be to the power plant in 20 minutes from the house.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Cotton did you hear how much rain you had down around yall's ranch? I was just curious because I heard there were places around brownwood that had 12+ inches of rain. We had 5.5 at my grandparents.

I went to Lavon yesterday with the family. Never found any Sandies. It was humid and started to get hot so we headed to the boat ramp.

I'd like to try Hubbard some day. Since I've never been on Hubbard it would be nice to have someone show me around.

You got it Mike!

Jason, the rancher that leases my place is 83 years old and his report was as follows: "Yep, it was a sure enough turd floater!" I havn't been able to find my conversion chart but I'm guessing we got a lot of rain.

Charles, we are going to try and be on the lake Thursday sometime between 4 and 5 pm, you're welcome to come join us or meet up later if you want.
