Connie stumbled on a filly that is 2 years old and appears to have a great start on her training. We went out and looked at her and rode her last weekend and decided to buy her. She is supposed to be my horse and this brings us up to 4 horses at the house -- 1 each. My wife has the responsibility of working with her and getting her responding to the bit well and all that stuff.

She has had a great start so there is nothing wild about this 2 year old. It is ashame that she will probably grey out a little over time but for now I will enjoy the contrast between the body and the blanket.

Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Congrats PQ and Connie! I know from experience if I were to ride her I would not let Mike saddle her up for me. :-)

Congrats on the member of the family Mike.

Does this mean more bales of hay in the loft?

More hay in the loft and less money in my wallet... :-)

Wade, smart move not to ride a horse saddled by me...

Good looking horse you got there. Do you show your horses or are they just for pleasure.

Will, my wife does Dressage, my oldest rides English, my youngest does Western & Team Penning. Me, I am just a trail rider. I may start attending the Team Penning with my youngest but I would rather be fishing... :-)

Mike, looks like someone spilled bleach on the horse? I guess its a nice horse but how the heck would I know I'm from NEW YORK... all we had were deer so where are the horns...Never mind must be a Doe ;)
I'll bet a trifecta box on the [6&9] in the 3rd...Sorry, I'm still trying to catch up with Brisket Boy.
