It has been a long time coming and I have ya'll to thank for it. I cooked up about 6 fish worth of those fillets tonight. If I had gone with my original plan, I would have never been where I would keep fish -- great idea Audra to go to Tawakoni...

Anyway, I was weighing out fish to cook tonight and it took 5 fillets to make a pound. I ended up cooking about 2 pounds tonight and it was delicious...

Here are a few pics of our dinner

Charles, just veggie oil.

Barnacle, when we have the big fry you better bring some.

Audra, I am more than game for a big fish fry. The question is when with??? With deer season just around the corner we may have to hold off and have it in the spring. I love a big fish fry and fellowship.

Looks awesome, I think I will lay some fish out at lunch and let it thaw and have some for dinner. Rudy, I was at El Salto in April, it sucked! Maybe Agua Milpa!! ;-)

Didn't even think about the camera until we stopped and then it was raining. I was soaking wet by then.

We kicked this idea around a week or so ago and were thinking about some Texas fishing legend, we never concluded with a selection.
