Here is what my Saturday had in store for me...

When it's available, we have to jump on it quickly and everything else has to go on stand-by. We picked up 156 bales and will need another 100 if and when he makes another cut. Shame is, we are paying $1.75 more per bale than last year.

Sometimes I hate having horses... :-)
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Wise choice:-)

I've been complaining all morning how sore I'am from riding jet skis all weekend. After seeing what you had to do I'll stop complaining!

Man, that does not look like fun at all Mike. I'm glad I don't own any horses. Taking care of my three kids is enough work. :-)

We are finally getting a litle rain here at my place. Hay is gonna be high this year. Made my 1st cutting last week and got 28 rolls, usually get around 100. With fertilizer and bailing had $42 in each roll. Put $780 more of the fertilizer gold on the ground today. I just love cows

I bet you slept good that night! BigUn could have made short work of that pile but he's got a very valid point. LOL!

Rob I hope what you mean by "short work" is I would have lit a match! :-)

Man, I stacked enough hay bales in Kansas when I was 16 and 17 years old that I can let you know it ain't happening at 40! He should have taking the Mathis approach and hired someone to do it! :-)
