I had a tournament Saturady. We sucked but I didn't care. I was thankful to have made it back to dry land without the help of rescue personnal. |

Just a tad Greg, just a tad! If that's what you call breezy I sure whould hate to see what you call windy. Out of all the years of being on a lake I have never speared a wave. I did twice on Saturady and I'm in no horry to ever do it again. |

Went with a friend who just put a new 200Hp merc on his bass boat. Put in at Riverside on the trinity and went up river. We caught lots of fish. Most were on a white crank bait. Some real quality blacks and some of the biggest whites I have ever caught. Mercury sure liked that gas. Burned about 35 gallons in an evening trip.. M&M Retires Afield

Dang Bluecat! I thought I covered some territory in a day of fishing but never burned 35 gallons worth yet. Love that Yamaha. Congrats on catching all those fish though. Charles it was quite breezy around here also. The southwest wind really had everything chopping and dirty. Thank god for the clear water up in the skinny water marsh area. went on on Travis for a few hours Friday night. Nothing biting though. Really wanted to make sure the boat was running right, since I just got it back from the mechanic. You trying to dance with that snake Rob? Vegatarian: Indian Word for Bad Fisherman

Charles, Where did you fish? I speared two in a row this year on T-Wok and it filled up the boat in a hurry. I bet I had a foot of water in the bottom. I've got a 21ft boat so you can imagine the size of the waves. Big I tell you big!! I'm glad you're OK. OzzieFish "In GOD I trust"

That's a nice bass. You've been on fire with big fish this year. I was at T-WOK too in a 19' boat. Water us up to my calves. I'm thankful my bilge pumps were working. Like I said earlier, I'm in no hurry to experience that again. |

Not that I am aware of but my head has been burried in school work a lot lately and trying to buy a new truck. I'll go look at the water levels and see what the 2 week graph looks like. BTW: That was supposed to say KING not KINK... Oh yea' Oz... The second 4H horse show was last weekend and I saw your advertisement in the program. Thanks again for supporting the Collin County 4H. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Some cowboy you are... you ducked right out of the cowboy work when I had 150+ bales of hay to put in the loft... Speaking of work, we are helping re-build some fence this weekend that was destroyed by the tornado up by the house so the family can move the horses they have left back onto the property. One of their horses was found in a tree still alive and they had to cut down the tree to get him out. Here is the Lake 'X' water level graph over the last 14 days. Looks to still be a tad below full pool.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
