You should have fished last weekend. We finished 18th with almost 10 pounds. Broke two off and had a 5lb-er jump off at the boat. It would have put us in 2nd. Come on up and fish. The Heitz program is good for anglers. BassZone.com

Way to go Dru. What was the secret pattern. I fished Sunday night and only managed 5 small keepers. It was a lot tougher than last month. I checked the local paper and saw a couple of media tournaments coming up. One was this saturday and the next was in August. Don't remember the actual date but I'm sure they have a website if you're interested. If you're richer than me I think we're related. If you're poorer than me I know we're related. Mark, we caught one nice fish out of a brush-pile in 21 feet of water on a 10 inch green worm. That was about mid-morning. At 1 o'clock we still just had that 1 fish. We went back to a row of tires that we had worked earlier in the day and for some reason they just fired off. We were throwing a yum finesse worm, watermelon green (dipping the last inch in chartruese) and puting it on a Shakey head. I use one that is made in Missouri, but it is very similiar to the screwed up jig head made by Reaction Innovations. The ones I used had a 90 degree bend and I think that is why I was losing fish. I picked some up this weekend that have the 60 degree bend at the eye and will try them out. BassZone.com
