I am still alive and kicking. For a retired and independently wealthy person I have way to much to do. :-) I haven't dropped in here in about 3 months I guess. I'll try and do better, I promise. We are very dry here were I am. I am running irrigation water 16 hours a day just trying to keep vittles for our cattle and horses not to mention the deer are coming out of the woodworks. I left a partial bag of range cubes in the back of my grandpa's truck the other day and the deer came and finished it off over night. It was at the back of the truck with the tailgate down. I guess times are getting bad for them as well. On top of that we have 14 nurse cows and 51 baby calves that have to be tended to twice a day. WE just cut our alfalfa for the 3rd time yesterday and will be baling it and putting it in the barn tomorrow. I actually hope it rains on it and ruins it before we get it in the barn. :-)Me and my cousin do manange to take my grandpa fishing once a week to brownwood. We have been catching lots of crappie but most are undersized. Usually if we catch 50 fish 5 will be big enough to keep. Supposedly they are catching some good ones up the pecan bayou though.

Well, look who the cat dragged in. Glad to hear your still kicking hand!

I've been knowing to toss a few bails of hay in my day (just ask PQ. I don't blame you one bit for wanting it to rain!

Welcome back "P"... I know the farm hand feeling, we took a 26' gooseneck down to Waco yesterday and picked up 200 squares -- 100 in the field and 100 out of his barn. Was up till midnight putting it in the barn (coulda used Charle's help :-) ). Even with the extra miles we came out better than buyin it up here locally. They are getting outragous on prices up here. People are asking $8 - $9 a bale around here. All said and done, including gas cost, we were around $6.5/bale for good coastal squares.

Glad to see ya' back around.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish
