I have seen the missed calls from several of you and I am sorry for not being able to call you back yet.

Connie is doing great and recovering well. There are more details than I need to put on the web so basically it boils down to she is recovering on track. She has been out of bed a few times today and they have taken her off the morphine drip because it was preventing her from being able to walk or sit up -- very fuzzy headed and drowsy. She is sleeping off what medication was still in her system and then we will get her out of bed to exercise in a little while.

I may get a chance to call ya'll back tonight but I am making no promises. If you need me to call you back pronto, shoot me some email at mike@fishingtexas.net and I have been checking these every know and then when she sleeps. I don't like to make calls while she is sleeping because I do not want to disturb her so emails work great.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has kept Connie and our family in your prayers and thoughts. I now know how important it is to have friends and family as support during times like these. I am finally back to my optimistic thoughts that no matter what the biopsy results are, there is nothing left in there to be a problem anyway.

Oh well, I hate to but I need to wake her up and get her hydrated now. I will check my emails later tonight when she gets back to sleep.

Thanks again everyone. One of the most wonder feelings in the world is to feel accepted and cared about. Your concerns, thoughts, and prayers have been a tremendous blessing to Connie, myself, and the kids -- Thank You!!!
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Thanks everyone for all the prayers and thoughts...

We got the reports back on the 15 samples that were taken during the surgery and they all came back cancer free. The tumor still was borderline so it was sent to John Hopkins center for testing. We should get the results of that test on Thursday.

Connie is home now and doing well. She is moving around and maybe moving too much. I grilled chicken last night and she ate a good portion so she is getting her appetite back. Her doctor has told her that she needs to be off work for 6 weeks so hopefully she takes it easy while I am at work and does not over do it. Her mother is staying at the house and helping her out with things and getting the kids to and from school.

Anyway, thank you again for all the thoughts, concerns, and prayers. My biggest fears have been laid to rest and now it is just a matter of time until she is back to normal.
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

I'm glad I decided to drop by today...first time in a long time. I'm sorry to hear this Picou but am glad she is recovering well. Prayers outbound from the Debowski clan.

Edit: I missed your last post. Man, that is great news! How's she doing these days?
