Was pretty windy around here this morning. Luckily I left the house around 5:45 am and was back at home with my 5 reds by 10:30 pm including a 60 mile drive there and back and cleaning fish. :-)

Went fishing Saturday with Susie - When we got to Houston it was DARK from clouds - by the time we got to south Houston it was 20MPH and couldnt see a thing. Figured we'd pass through it and be in the clear. When we got to freeeport it was drizzling but - FAC - I mean FAC - We went ahead and put in and headed out. All of the way checking each rig for a spot to fish - all taken by at least 2 boats. Got to the reef and couldn't get a bite.... (no weed lines either) went east about 10mi and checked another rig - there were a few boats around but none at the rig. As we approached one of the rig workers hollared and signaled Susie to take up her top .... Pissed me off - then he went and got 3 other guys and as they were walking over I decided to leave. We checked the other boats out looking for fish or underwater structure and noticed ladies on board those boats also. Them pervs on hte rig were messing things up for everyone..... Started to head back in and found a rig that was open. Fished there for an hour pluss and ended up with 1 keeper snapper. so far - Total for the day - 1 keeper snapper, a bunch of throw backs, and 2 barracuda - (what an ugly fish) - released. On the way in I saw a 2X4 about 6' long and went to it - loaded with dorado :-) We ended up keeping about 15 chicken dorado and threw a bunch back. This made the trip worth it - Not the best trip but - ALL IN A DAYS FUN!
