Well, Michele and I have just put in an offer on 30 acres near Lindale in east Texas. It 100% timber with a dried up creek... We saw deer and a coyote being chased by dogs out there. We'll know something on Saturday!! Wish me luck...

There is a meeting to discuss our offer with the estate on Saturday. I guess someone died and the estate is selling the land. Get your chain saw ready PQ...I have alot of cedar posts to cut :-)

Good luck Oz. Although my roots reach back to Deaden, LA and a whole bunch of cedar cutters, that gene didn't pass on. Sorry I'm no help with the tree trimming.

Congrats Oz... Now that I have thought about it, your new property is more like 1:45 away. It is definately some pretty country over there.

F88,
Cool beans...The land is off of Old Mineola Highway 431 to CR442 & CR481. Do you know anyone that installs barb wire or pipe fencing?

ps: I'll be fishing Palestine this weekend any tips?

Congrats Oz. Wes is real good at running barbwire and clearing fence lines. He is your man!! :-) BTW, unlike Wes I just want to come hog hunting in the spring when I'm visiting Fork.
