Nice ride. Now get it on Texoma and cover it up with striper scales.

If not striper scales... at least some shad slime... :-)

Very nice boat indeed Rod... One of these days you need to take me out in it and show me how to catch them stripers on Texoma.

Sweet Rig!

Currious - How much does the hull weigh and how does that Nissan tow it? I am looking at buying a new truck and I am debating a Diesel or Gas. My Chevy 1500 is just a little too weak for regular trips to Galveston/Freeport with the Ranger. The Ranger hull is 2700/2800 lbs.

the hull dry without the motor is about 2,900 lbs.
The total boat and trailer wet is around 5,000. The Titan pulls it with no problem at all. Even through the mountains we never ran out of gas pedal. Truth is the milage in "Tow Mode" running around 70-75 is right at 9 MPG. Not towing we get about 16 MPG. Those are real numbers checked over several thousand miles. Power and braking ability of the Titan is no worries and the ride is very smooth.

Les, I think Dean had his top done at Southwest Fibreglass around Houston somewhere.

Not sure if it has changed since this pic

I know that they have provided great customer service and made some modifications over time as Dean has requested.

My top was done by "Custom Marine Concepts". They are on 2920 near I 45 in Spring. I do not have the number handy so if you need it I will gladly get it for you.

Glen is my contact there and his work is very good.
