I decided to check out what all the hype was with these crankbaits made by Rick at Persuader Lures and ordered a Spring Craw colored 200D to toss at the pre-spawn bass this year. I am not sure what the promotion is but when the box arrived I found more than I expected -- a second crankbait was keeping my spring craw company on the journey to my tackle box.  I am not sure why but I'll glady give this new color some water time and see if it produces. Heck, if Ozzie can catch a fish on a pink worm then I should be able to catch something on a pink crankbait huh....  I hear that these Persuader cranks are some fish producing baits so I look forward to trying them out for myself. Persuader Crankbaits  Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish | ||

Don't even think about throwing that pink one with me around I have a few of these hardbaits. Their pretty good but I have a hard time paying the $$$ for them. Last year I was fishing a tournament on Ray Hubbard and caught a fish that I thought was Mobydick, turned out to be a carp. | ||

I've definately caught some "exotics" on cranks over the last couple of years. They definately get the blood pumpin during a tournament when you set the hook and the rod doubles. After a few seconds into the battle it is usually obvious that you don't have a bass tho. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish | ||
