TWPD is stocking trout in it today. Looks like they will be dumping 1250 fish into the lake. I have not taken advantage of the trout stockings in years and maybe it is time to take the kids for some ultra-light action...  Oh, Towne Lake in McKinney will be getting 2700 rainbows dumped in it early February. No wonder they caught a 12+ pound bass out of there last year -- high protien forage... Mike I was out there last week in the cold(tired of sitting in the house). I fished a couple of hours without a bite but the water was a little stained. I talked to a guy who said they had been biting. My dad was out there a couple of weeks ago and caught a limit. Good luck if you go. If you're richer than me I think we're related. Thanks Rudey, I think I know exactly where that it -- especially now... Thanks Tex, I need to go try that. We are headed to Jacksboro this afternoon so it will have to wait but if you go and have any real success please let me know. Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish |
