Saturday really turned out to me a pretty nice day. My partner for Saturday was Jorge and he did fa great job of catching more fish from the back of the boat than me so Hats off to you Jorge. We started out in Williams creek due to the large amount of grass that is still hanging around in area's. It didn't take long before I landed a fish between 6-7lbs 23" on a spinnerbait (CPR). This fish has been caught before due to his mouth being a little smaller on one side. CPR is working on Fork so keep it up everyone. Jorge took the next one on a senko and we headed back for some lunch and yes we had EGGS and no died PG!! After three men took one hour to get the smoker going for ribs. We headed back and went to the 6lbs stump that PQ's knows about but no luck so we moved over to Mustang and landed 3 more to complete the day. Spinnerbaits ruled the day. The total was Jorge (3 )and me (2) but I had the bid fish so I was pleased. The water temp was 47 in the morning and 49 in the afternoon. We got off the lake early due to the storm that came in around 3:30 and it was big with cold winds that kicked up on high out of the north.
PS: the lake looks really good the water is a little stained in most places but very fishabe. The north end is muddy and the backs of most major creeks. Once we get three days of warming look for great fishing to be had. You need to be there on the third day!! I now can use the ramp at the trailer so haapy days are here again.
Next up Crappie Super bowl!!

Great job as usual Oz! Good to hear Fork is making a comeback.
