I registered the domain name "attheramp.com" last week or so and it will be aliased to fishingtexas.net tomorrow. It's up guys, The group name is "At the Ramp" in quotes, and all you have to do is create your team and join the group. Once you do that you can pick your anglers from the roster, just remember to keep your salary below 50 our you won't get any points. | ||

Ok here are a few tips/strategy for the new guys... Anglers values change over the course of the year, up/down depending on how they fish each tourney. For example KVD's salary is 15.3 right now but at the end of the year it may be as high as 20. You can ride him all year and have him locked in at 15 but if you drop him and want to pick him up later he will cost you more. At the change/add anglers screen you can click on the anglers name and it will show what his strengths are and his tourney history. This can come in handy when selecting your roster if they are fishing up north, out west, river systems, shallow, deep, sight fishing, who the local guys are...etc. If you see a particular angler have a couple of good tourneys, it pays to ride the hot hand; i.e. Steve Kennedy, John Crews, Mike McClellan last year. The trick is knowing when to change. I also set up a pick 6 group under the same name, so if you wanna get spanked by me there as well feel free to sign up. | ||

Welcome to The Ramp Vince. Congrats on your new rig... I also created a pick 6, I'll go join the group. and gladly B-slap you back down Rumb... I assume that we are competing against all teams individualy for the prizes each tournament. They actually have some pretty sweet prizes awarded for the big tournaments -- not bad at all for a contest that is free to enter. At least for the first half of the season I chose anglers who are solid deep water fishermen. I also picked the newby from Lindale, Tx. Niggemeter... He was cheap and my expectation is his value will increase rapidly but I've got him locked in at the lower value. Thanks for setting this up Rumbanator. Another great source of smack talkin...
