The best I can tell, the lake is about 2 foot low. I would think the best bet is to call the office over there and see if they can tell you. All of the reporting agencies that I use for lake levels do not cover state park lakes so unfortunately I have no definate.

Maybe you can get more info from this fella:
Schmidt's Guide Service

Sorry I could not point you to an online source.

Fishing reports never show Fairfield's level, either. But, from experience, I can tell you that most of the time power plant lakes are kept at normal pool through water from other lakes (Richland Chambers?), etc. So my guess would be +/- 1' from normal pool. That's what they usually are.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.

The lake is 2 foot low, water temp at the hot water discharge is 74, at the cove nearest the dam 50.

Fish had lock jaw (3 dinks) last week we will see about this Sunday.

Fished DCBC tourney today, caught 5 fish (2-17", 2-16" & 1-14") but no weigher’s.

Water is 76 in discharge cove, mid 60's in covers close to discharge and 50's in areas away form discharge.

All fish came on Zoom watermelon and green pumpkin trick worms fished right at the edge of the reeds in 3-5 foot of water.

Lots of fish weighed but I can’t remember details, I will post them when they are added to the website.

Bummer on not gettin any weighers but congrats on getting some fish. I have never fished Fairfield but would love to do it some day. We were going to have a big Fishing Texas Network gathering there last year I believe. We never could get a date picked so it did not happen.
