I think I am going to be sick tomorrow afternoon... I can feel it coming on already! This time of year just gets to me -- rising temperatures, warming glow of sunshine, just off a full moon... These conditions just kill me...

I'll keep ya'll posted on my condition and any resulting pixels from my treatment!!!
Thank you Lord for my family and the waters I get to fish

Mike,
We really need a strong warming trend right now. The water temps are in the low 40's all round the area lakes which is resulting in poor fishing. Spent two days on Fork and only caught two crappie. I bass fished a little but it was just to cold for them fellas. I see CABA at Tawakoni on Saturday only had 5 fish caught and 4lbs won with two fish. The same thing happened at Cedar Creek Media Bass 71 teams 53 blanks. With all the new cold water added to the lakes it has shut down everything. It was unreal at Fork there were no Crappies to be found anywhere and when you did find some they wouldn't bite at all. We need some really warm weather and soon. What would be great if the nights would warm to the high 50's, that will trigger the bites. Fork is going to be strong this year I predict!! It's looking great right now. We'll have deep grass lines in 7-12ft all over the lake. You'll be able to fish the outside in 10plus or the inside at 5ft less. Can't wait to see the temps start to climb up to the 50's and 60's.

I found 55 degree water yesterday at Lewisville. Only caught 1 little knothead though. Right now I guess its all about trying to find warm water.

That very warm compared to what I've been seeing. I didn't think you could get into Pecan Creek?

Wishin I was out sick today but I figure the water needs a day to warm up -- in case I fall in.

Ozzie... I may have to go visit "the stump" and see if your 7 pounder is sitting there again. :-)

I would save this date for warmer water myself. Like a date I can come up! :-)

I remember that feeling when I helped my dad remodel a house on Medina Lake. The guy that owned the house finally saw my anguish and gave me access to his boat and dad let me take off early a few times to spend the afternoon on the lake. :-)
